David Bryan Schwartz, founder and president of Essential Communications, operates the premier source for Audio/Video design and installation. Blessed with a pioneering spirit for technology, Schwartz has been making a visual impact since he founded one of New York City’s first city-wide high school television programs while enrolled at Brooklyn’s Abraham Lincoln High School.
Schwartz went from being an audio event producer to a sound/lighting designer on national tours and events for clients including Pier 17, Levi’s, Sears & Roebuck, Paul Mitchell and Sebastian hair care products, and the Jacob Javitz Convention Center. His first companies, Creative Audio Visual Concepts and security/telecommunications firm Protect Safe & Sound, flourished, and in 1993 Schwartz merged them to form Essential Communications.
Today, guided by Schwartz’ vision for groundbreaking designs, top quality workmanship and unparalleled customer support, Essential Communications stands out with its singular reputation for excellence. To date, the firm has created award-winning work for a clientele that includes Abercrombie & Fitch, Christian Dior, Equinox Fitness Clubs, and many, many more across a wide range of industries, including retail, restaurants, corporate, industrial and government installations.
