Holt Renfrew is a high-end clothing retailer with nine locations from Toronto to British Columbia. Recognized as the style leader in Canada, the stores are known for the daring designers they team with, as well as innovations in merchandise and customer service.
The spirit of innovation extends to their store designs as well. In 2004, Essential Communications designed and installed a completely reconfigured music delivery/music programming/public address system in Holt Renfrew's flagship Toronto store. Essential Communications president David Schwartz specified the uniquely capable Trusonic point-of-sale music system to meet the complex music programming and automated announcement needs of the store. With a large, 32-input, 32-zone matrix configuration to cover, the heart of the DSP is the BSS Soundweb.
Thanks to precisely timed public announcements and music specifically tailored to each distinct part of the store, the Holt Renfrew customer experience is greatly enhanced.
